If you have a scooter or motorcycle with a valid Illinois title, and order your plates before May 15, they will be available for pickup in July, and can be legally displayed on the vehicle they’re registered to, (covering your current registered plate) through the end of the rally. You may order multiple assigned plates, but you can only assign one plate per vehicle. (You’ll need to upload a photo of your current IL registration card or screenshot of your online renewal when you order. If your vehicle registration expires in May, June, July, or August, you’ll need to renew your plates online, using the PIN on your registration card. This will not affect your plate expiration dates)

If you live outside Illinois and/or don’t assign the plate to a valid vehicle, you will receive your plates by mail a couple weeks after the rally (Shipping will be added to your plate cost). These plates are the exact same design and materials, but are not to be used on any vehicle anywhere, under any circumstances. You may order as many as you like.

All plates will be personalized with up to four letters/numbers, subject to Illinois Secretary of State guidelines. You’ll be asked for a first and second choice, if you want a common/popular word, register quickly!

Letters and numbers can be combined, but all letters must come before all numbers, and no punctuation or spaces are allowed:

A, AB, ABC, ABCD, ABC1, AB12, A124, 1234, 123, 12, 1… OK!

1A, A1B2, AB1C, 12AB, 12AB, 12-AB, AB 12… NOPE!
